Country Lawyer Gallery, 7 Church Street, Phelps. First class is Tuesday, July 11, 2023 6–8 PM.
This is a 4 week class on consecutive Tuesday evenings. We will learn, step by step, how to draw the example shown here - an old barn. Using these steps, you will find that drawing this barn and other subjects will be both easier to do and will make much more sense.
Yes, you can do it. If you ever wanted to draw but had little success, you had a bad experience in art class or you just didn't have the confidence to get started, here is your ticket! We will approach this project in a relaxed and easy to understand way using a method that breaks down the drawing into doable sections. Each week, we will add to our drawings with more steps until we create a finished project.
The class will be limited to six members so it can be an individual experience. The class is for all levels of skill and experience, but we will be using basic concepts to create the drawing and to understand what it is we are accomplishing.
I will provide materials for the first class. I will also provide a materials list with references to sources and pricing if you want to build yourself a basic drawing kit.
Classes start on July 11 at 6:00 PM. The total cost for the 4 week class is $60. This class is primarily a walk in class for the first night but a discount is offered for early registration and for bringing a friend or two. To register early or if you have questions, call Michael at 585.789.0017. Payment can be made at the first class meeting.

Register for this four week class by texting 585.789.0017. Walk-in attendees are welcome as well on the first Tuesday of class. Class fees for the complete four Tuesdays are $60.00 for walk-in and $50.00 for registered students.
All skill levels are welcome and projects will be geared toward personal experience. This is a follow up class for some but is also appropriate for those who want to try out this creative medium.
