Tom Cheney

Tom Cheney’s outstanding dedication and volunteer work has been recognized throughout many years within the Phelps community.  His leadership roles have been within several important service organizations such as our Phelps Community Historical Society, the Phelps Community Center and the Community Food Cupboard. He is truly appreciated and admired. 

His generous contributions of time and talent for many years were represented by holding the position of Treasurer while on our PCHS Board of Directors, for many years. Both Tom and his wife Bev, were instrumental in sharing their volunteer time in Phelps. They received a special honorable Mary Hicks Preston Memorial Award in 2012. He was also the President of The PCC Board and Co-Director of the Food Cupboard in 2005. 

​We thank him for his gift of time and commitment to the many years he served as an integral part of developing the Phelps Historical Society.  He is very much appreciated within the community of Phelps!
